Don't they usually just march to the Tap Tap Tap until they get to the hill/street that goes down to the stadium?

Then they halt and play and start marching/running in.
I get goose bumps everytime I'm there for that.

Yeah, the band plays at he Hungry Tiger stand and then the band and fans run. I think the ticket office is a little to far to get the whole expierence. :geauxtige

The Drum Major Stops at a certain Light pole on the street, as I was in the middle of the band, by the time I stopped running we were right about at the weight room, the athletic office is way to far to get any real experience. Its real hard to hear on ground level if your not close cause of the roar of the fans, they march to one specific cadence to there, then after they play, they finish "running" to a little different cadence with just snares and bass drums. Then they go back to the traditional cadences, move from 8's to 4's so they can get into the stadium and finish the parade into the stadium.

Yea, Like Micah said, we definately played coming down the hill...and I should know seeing as how I am the drum captain and center snare this year in the drumline...we never play anything else but the cadences, then pregame down the hill, the tunnel run cadence and then go back into the first cadence when we get to the entrance to stadium. I can ASSURE you that we played, cause my legs aren't tired for nothing

Had both of them!!!!!! If I looked to my right, there was the "Hungry Tiger." To my left was the gate the band entered. In front of me was the PMAC. The cheerleaders ran up the hill. Then down the hill in front to the band. There was NO song played.:angryfire
