They are just bitter from losing last season. while there were those who hated their trip to New Orleans last year, on the flipside there were alot of OU fans who had a blast despite the results. I'm personally hoping OU crushes USC. I wonder if those same idiots who had sugar bags on their heads last year now look like the Syracuse mascot?
Just remember, we got the hardware. Let them be bitter, it doesn't matter to us, does it? I've got no beef with OU- we beat them, and now there's no reason why it shouldn't be their turn to hoist that crystal football over their heads. And yes, I had heard reports of how rowdy and crude our fans were (I don't know whether to be proud of our committment or ashamed of our actions), but hey, what if OU was playing for its first NC in 45 years and the game was in OK City? You can see where I'm going... I'll sure be rooting for the Sooners on the 4th. I REALLY don't want to hear "back to back national champions" from SC fans. If USC wants to declare themselves back to back champions, they should remove themselves from the BCS, the system they are contractually bound to yet keen to ignore if it doesn't go their way, a la 2003. GEAUX SOONERS
Disappointing to hear that coming from the OU forums. I was in New Orleans for the game last year and had a great time all weekend long. The OU fans that I encountered all over the Quarter conducted themselves with class and we had a good time hanging out with a number of them. I was expecting worse for some reason and was very pleasantly surprised. I didn't see any LSU fans treating OU fans poorly either. I think this is a case of the one bad apple theory. Everyone that I talked to and crossed paths with had a great time. That being said I will definitely be pulling for the Sooners on Tuesday. USC is still a bunch of West Coast Whiny Babies.
I've always liked The sooners and I can't wait for tonights game when they beat USC 45-21. BOOMER SOONER!
Why be for either team?? Screw both of them. :lsug: is the only team to be for. Hopefully the game will end 3 - 3 after the 4th Qtr, and after the 6th OT it's still a 3 - 3 tie and the season ends with no BCS national champion. :thumb:
Adrian Peterson is going run for over 200 yards in this game and be the MVP. Reggie Bush is going to be held under 100 yards and fumble at least once and Leinart is going to throw at least 1 int.
