Not sure why more people aren't talking about this piece of shit. Not only did break the chain of command by calling his Chinese counterpart without his president's knowledge, if Tucker Carlson is to be believed, he also told him that if the US were ever to attack China, he would call and warn them first. Out-fuckin-rageous. Not only does he need to step down, he needs to be arrested for treason. WTF is going on that we are now giving aid and comfort to our enemies?

He should be arrested for treason but he won't. Because too many American's are too stupid to realize that we're sinking into the quicksand of totalitarianism. And half way down they think it feels good.

Trump was a loose cannon. The man is mentally unstable (even more than Biden) and should have been removed from office. Milley's oath is to the Constitution, not the President. Thank God for Pence and Milley. And some people on these boards think character doesn't matter. It matters immensely.

    https://www.cnn.com/2021/09/14/politics/woodward-costa-book-trump-afghanistan-memo/index.html

"Just eight days after the 2020 election, then-President Donald Trump was so determined to end the war in Afghanistan during his presidency that he secretly signed a memo to withdraw all troops by January 15, 2021, according to a new book, "Peril," from journalists Bob Woodward and Robert Costa.

The November 11 memo, according to the authors, had been secretly drafted by two Trump loyalists and never went through the normal process for a military directive -- the secretary of defense, national security adviser and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs had all never seen it. Unpredictable, impulsive, Trump had done an end run around his whole national security team.

At the White House, the three men paid a surprise visit to national security adviser Robert O'Brien and showed him the signed memo.
"How did this happen?" Milley asked O'Brien, according to the book. "Was there any process here at all? How does a president do this?"
O'Brien looked at the memo and said, "I have no idea," according to the authors.
"What do you mean you have no idea? You're the national security adviser to the President?" Milley responded. "And the secretary of defense didn't know about this? And the chief of staff to the secretary of defense didn't know about this? The chairman didn't know. How the hell does this happen?"
O'Brien took the memo and left. While the officials had briefly debated whether the memo could be a forgery, Trump confirmed to O'Brien that he had signed it."

He may have been a loose cannon, but he's not mentally unstable. For a sitting General and highest ranking military member to call an enemy and assure him we weren't going to attack, then tell that adversary that we would let him know if and when we were going to attack is against Article III, Section 3 of the Constitution.

Irrelevant to Milley calling a Chinese general and discussing our military plans.

    Loose cannon = mentally unstable
If Pence and the Cabinet had done their job and removed Trump, then I would agree on Article III, Section 3. But they did not do their job. The Constitution assumes a President that is fit for office.

Loose cannon = bucking traditional norms. Just because you hate him doesn't mean he wasn't fit for office. His accomplishments speak for themselves.

You're completely overlooking Milley conspiring with an enemy.

You sound like all people throughout history that justified totalitarianism "We had to do it" "He was a loose cannon", etc, etc...Nothing happened and there was a peaceful transition of power. You're irrational.

You really gonna say Biden is more mentally stable then Trump? If so you're bonkers.

But either way, either President, we don't do that. Miley should be charged with Treason.

Well if Milley is guilty then so is Trump. Remember his encouraging Russia to hack Hillary's computer? Yes, that's conspiring with an enemy. No matter how much you hate Hillary. And believe me, I'm no fan of her either.
