1. And weak as it was, he was 14-24 with 148 yards, 0 TDs, and 1 INT in those games. At least they won the Louisville game. Though he only threw one pass in that one.

  2. i wasn't too impressed on that drive when State went no huddle and BURNED LSU on their TD drive. i hate to harp on that ONE drive, but it showed that LSU has a bit of trouble with a no huddle, spread offense. kelvin sheppard is best when he has a chance to audible and change the play, and make sure the defense is on the right page. hopefully they learned a lesson from that game (and drive.) while state's offense showed our defense some sound, and well-coached schemes, WVU will execute better. and brandon taylor? he seems to get burned a LOT on big plays, so i still don't have 100 % confidence in him. i'm not trying to cut down our team (or players,) but those are the two issues that i have with our defense.

i think it's 50/50 with LSU getting a slight edge because it's at home. hate to say it, but this really is a game that i was worried about before the season started. i think our defense will ultimately keep WVU in check, but WVU looks pretty good from what little video i have found.
    :geaux:

EDIT - i meant their DEFENSE looks pretty good from what i have seen. of course once you tally in the level of their opponent, it's still a bit too early to tell. will be one helluva game, though.
  3. I have to say, I have been pretty rough on Brandon Taylor for having Harry Coleman's disease and wanting to just destroy everyone and not wrap up and make tackles, but he did wrap up last weekend, I was proud of him.
  4. yeah, he did a good job against miss. state, but i think he's still the "weak" spot in the secondary. but the jury is still out on him.
  5. First off watch with the personal insults. Kettle... meet pot.

I never said HS had anything to do with what is going to happen Saturday night. The OP asked for any truth. I copied and pasted what i found out about the subject.
  6. Wicked, I think Eers2ya has ruined this board for you kind.

I can't Fricking what to Saturday night. I believe WV is the first true test for LSU. A test that I honestly believe they will Ace :geaux:

On a side note...what do y'all think the chances are of the Saints picking up PP...I just don't want to let the guy go. I love watching him play.
  7. Then don't. Chief adjusted and that was the end of that.
  8. Rewatched the game last night and PP is just simply the best. Also, if Drake Nevis is coming one way, I would probably go the other way. Dude is scary good and quick off the ball.
  9. This D could possibly have 3 AA this year. One at each level of the defense. How awesome would that be. Drake, Kelvin, and Patrick.

  10. Really does not matter what he did then but YOU better worry about what he can and will do now.........I'm jusss sayin:geauxtige
