No first down performance ... nothing but abandoning

the run because you can't run ... GA's cards are all on the table ... plain for every one to see

When you have to pass on first down ... and Saban knows it ... you're in trouble ...

Greene's mobility sux and he's a Frankenstein back there ... Shockley's no better ... watches his receivers the whole way ... use your injured super blocking back

Can he block two at a time ...

Shotgun formations the whole game ... LSU's dee teeing off on ... and popping Greene early and often ...

I totally agree. On his show the other day he basically said the same thing. He hasn't held anything back. We just aren't clicking on offense.

yeah i remember hearing the same thing here in the past but in the end it wasn't true. to a small extent, yes but failing to execute is the real issue.

Same exact thing. Not clicking/not executing. What's your point?

Georgia ended up being ranked at number 3 in the nation last year for the second straight year.

The average Dawg fan last year didn't focus on national championship possibilities simply because the whole offensive line was being rebuilt with all Freshmen and Sophomores, as already mentioned.

The average Dawg fan just wanted to compete for another SEC title.

But if it wasn't for Georgia's contribution to LSU's BCS strength of schedule ranking, the Crystal Trophy would probably be sitting somewhere in Oklahoma right about now.

But this year, both Georgia players and fans are talking about BCS possibilities.

If Georgia loses, the SEC issues are not as significant. Georgia can still beat UT and/or Florida head to head.

But Georgia's NC possibilities would be significantly curtailed with a loss. Personally, I have a feeling that Miami is going to run the board.

If LSU loses, Auburn would have to lose 3 games before LSU would be back in contention to make it to the SECCG.

in the past, meaning, with former LSU teams/coaches I used to hear that and believe it. Found out later it was because we didn't/couldn't execute and not from w/holding anything of relevance.

I think both teams are in a bad position. This is a huge game, one with BCS implications. If Tigers lose, then we have to hope AU drops even more games, for a chance to make the SECCG. UGA is in the same situation, if they want to control their own destiny, they have to win this game at home. LSU might be more loose, I don't know. I think playing in GA is going to level the playing field, since I feel LSU has more talent.

No doubt about it this is a huge game, probably the biggest so far this season.

richt is not billing this as game of the century...he's smart enough to know no motivation is needed for this game. His job will be to control and settle his team down which will be almost impossible. LSU will need to survive the first couple of waves by UGA and use their emotions against them. It will be a furious onslaught of emotions by the dawgs and if LSU can manage to take or have a lead after that then I think they will be fine. Richt knows LSU will have problems if playing from behind and will try to take full advantage. I think the game can be lost by LSU in the first 10 minutes if they do not come out totally focused and prepared yet I see LSU winning this one if they shut down Greene & Co. early and force him into a couple of mistakes and some heavy sacks. then its deja vu all over again.

has all the makeup of a great game. for some reason Im thinking there will be a lot more scoring than most. logic doesnt dictate that, though.

I think you are right, UGA is due a good offensive game and I bet we will see some carry over from the MissSt game from LSU. You hit the nail on the head though, the biggest factor will be focus. Which team can focus and get the job done.

GA might not even score a TD ... this LSU dee will punish GA on first down and force them into 3rd and long ... all game long ...

10 points will be a GA miracle ... They simply don't have the speed or the power in a much smaller Dee line to dominate the LSU OL ... LSU's passing game is coming around fine and we should throw 20 passes this weekend.

A desperate GA will throw twice the passes LSU does ... the writing is on the wall ... Saban has this bunch thinking and playing ...
