1. Fire him? He has a .782 win percentage including three SEC Championship appearances and dam near a fourth- and won two. No NC yet but still a very good coach. Miles win percentage is .667 (Both of those percentages don't include this year's wins/losses). Hopefully, we're about to fix his not having a NC.

M Richt is a nice man and very classy- I thought he said what he did in a tactful manner and would expect our coach to do the same for us. He didn't put any team/conference down in making his case. When our coach gave mitigating circumstances for our loss and called out other teams/conferences in the past, we've thought it was "Cool".

I read that Mark Richt went visit a kid, from Georgia, in the hospital (Forgot what disease he had) and the kid told him he was an LSU fan. (Is that hilarious and great or what?lol) Richt sent him tickets to see LSU in the Conference game last Saturday.

You're probably still mad cause he spanked our azzes in '05 and we were sure hoping not to see him this year.
  2. Y'all are talking about the people who think hedges make their stadium great, and get whipped into a frenzy by the band playing "Whole Lotta Love." Hell, their fight song is "The Battle Hymn of the Republic"..."glory, glory hallelujah, we made a first down!" I find few things in all of CFB more annoying than the University of Georgia.
  3. Well no that's BETTER than winning the division and then losing the CCG. Just ask Missouri and Kansas.
  4. at risk of being classless (me for suggesting - you for doing):

can you tell them to not crap in the house when they're in the dome. we don't want to get puppy poop on our shoes at the NCG.

or maybe just say, "here little puppy. come get some sugar."

or "try not to get rainbowed by the warriors"

or "be a good little puppy and go lick your own ba11$ or something."

    i kid...

    not really...

btw...don't we have them in our house next season? TIGERBAIT!

  5. Moore is kinda funny in that when you read even just a few of his articles, you automatically get the feeling that he just dislikes ALL Atlanta and Georgia teams with the way he bashes them all the time....

    Kinda funny sometimes....
  6. Did anybody see Jim Rome talkign about the dawgs?? He said they had the weakest argument of all, and Mark Richt looked ridiculous. Also, he said that the rule about the conference champion wasn't in there because it's common sense. He said maybe Mark Richt needs a rule that should tell him he needs to eat or breath or else he will die. It was pretty funny.
  7. I'll ask June about that tomorrow. Going to Honolulu for a week.
  8. UGA fans know that Kentucy won the UT - Kentucky game in the 2nd OT, after a review of a pass that hit the ground was ignored by the ref. in the review box. Shades of the infamous Auburn-LSU game.

UGA was really being primed to be contender in 2008 anyway, but Richt feels like UGA could beat anybody at this point.

This is also part of what he said:
"We beat Florida by double digits," Richt said. "We held Kentucky to 13 points and they're hanging 50 on some really good football teams. We beat Auburn by 25. We've just been very, very hot. We've been extremely strong. (Quarterback) Matthew (Stafford) has grown up, (tailback) Knowshon (Moreno) has made his mark.

"I just believe we're one of the two best teams in the nation right now and deserve to play in the game."

If Hawaii beats UGA, he will eat his words. If UGA wins big, a #1 or #2 preseason ranking is likely.
