I put my name on a list for a(nother) Glock 19 today, sorry. :D JUST in case they limit the mag capacity, I'll have one to give to each of my girls/girls' husbands later.

I still want to add a Smith & Wesson 9mm too.

Sig by far is one of the most reliable and combat proven handguns on the market. Most of the state guys I know use them, as well as several federal agencies only issue Sig. I have a Sig 9mm, and will be going the .40 route in a few months. I have a great 12g tacted out, best home defense weapon there is... and most of the time racking a shell is enough to make an intruder shit themselves and run.

Best advice I can give when it comes to personal defense weapons is never skimp on price/quality.

I've never had a Sig, but the best gun I've ever owned was a Ruger .45. Deadly accurate and must have shot 1000 rounds through it without jamming one time. I also have a small, compact, easy to conceal S&W 9mm that I love, as well.

If anyone is looking for really cheap handguns, there seems to be a lot of keltec and hi-points available in the pawn shops. LOL.

ha. I'm not sure about the keltec but know I'll never have a hi-point, not even if it was given to me.

Yeh, I'm not even sure why pawn shops even buy them anymore. Maybe melt them down and sell scrap metal? That's about all they're worth.
