1. I hope you fell better soon.

I have shoulder issues but haven't been to the dr. I figure that it's just a torn cuff.

I wish you a speedy recovery, Okie!
  2. Oh well...I guess we'll have to use Anthony Ranaudo as the opening day starter! :tigbas: Hope you're back before the CWS.

    Get well soon!

  5. Hey girl, I hope you recover in time to throw out the first pitch !! :tigbas:.
  6. I tore my rotator cuff when I slipped on the dock getting off a charter boat in Fourchon about 9 years ago. It hurt like broken arm for two days then it got better and I eventually got back to about 90% capability in a month or so.

The doctor said they could operate but I might not need it since it was a small tear. I talked to several people who got the surgery and they all told me that if I could stand the pain, don't get the surgery because it never takes you all the way to 100% anyway. So I didn't. I just wish it wasn't my right arm.

It's low level pain and I can stand it. I just have to be careful when I'm lifting something over shoulder height on that arm . . . and I now throw a ball like a girl. Guess I'll never pitch in the big leagues. :hihi:
  7. unfortunately, it can also do just the opposite as in my case. i likely ripped the tendon off just from the instability in the joint from the rotator cuff tear. when i had an arthrogram back in sept, there were no hints at any other tears other than the ligament. but the tendon definitely explains why i was in pain 24/7 the last couple of months.

and for some reason, i always thew like a girl.
  8. How much did you get?

  9. I didn't sue him. It was me that slipped, a boat will pitch in a chop even at the dock so I didn't really think anybody was negligent and since I didn't get the surgery, I wasn't out any money.

That chit raises the price of fishin'.
  10. Maybe you're not a liberal.:hihi:
