Okie is alive! Good to hear! Esp. since she is nice to me for the most part. Now these people in Haiti... yeah, I've been ignoring them. My mother (still alive but with cancer) is begging me to help them. She tells me I should just call up the Red Cross (she has plenty of experience volunteering for the Red Cross in her day... she is an RN that did a lot of volunteer work with the Red Cross). Anybody here helping out with the tragedy in Haiti, and if so, do you have any advice for me? I saw on the news about how the US is flying in Haitian orphans for us to adopt as Americans while at the same time moving out the inmates in the South Florida Federal Detention Center to make room for us to imprison the expected unslaught of Haitians fleeing from the disaster.
