Man crush, tiga? I'd love to meet him, btw--in Miami in January. The wait to play USC has been like the most excruiating of foreplay.
Ha! I typed it wrong the first time, too. Thought I corrected it. That's what I get for posting while watching Titanic. I can say that, I'm a female.
Yep....3 or 4 years ago the big "Miles is winning with Saban's players" debate was going on and someone said that Saban won with DiNardo's players. Then he listed all of the players Saban won with that he inherited from DiNardo...and how many of them went on to the NFL and the list was long and impressive. I forgot who that was, but I still remember that post. It was a hall of fame post because it surprised a bunch of people and shut up a whole bunch more.
Here you go... Fred Booker Jerel Myers Ryan Clark Rohan Davey Trev Faulk Bradie James Corey Webster-- Josh Booty Craig Nall Randall Gay-- Marcus Randall-- LaBrandon Toefield Josh Reed Devery Henderson-- Eric Alexander-- Dominick Davis John Corbello Lionel Turner-- Jarvis Green Rodney Reed Donnie Jones Stephen Peterson-- Jack Hunt-- Robert Royal Howard Green Eric Edwards Norman LeJeune Kenderick Allen Abram Booty Adrian Mayes-- Brandon Winey I have counted 31 from the 2000 roster. The ones with -- following the player are guys who were recruited by both Dinardo and Saban and most of them were on board before Saban arrived on November 30th. I left Lavalais and Mauck off the list because both were persuaded by Saban to join the team.
Yep, some seem to forget, the last game, we beat a ranked team by 25 points and it wasn't that close of a game.
