Thanks Tiga. I just searched to check up on it. Fresno State beat Stanford so we play them at noon West coast time, 2pm here. Cal state will play Stanford to follow and the loser of our game will play the winner of this game to follow that. Let's stay in the winnner's bracket ladies.
Interesting about Fresno St.........I think I heard on ESPNU this weekend that they are the only school to have made the WCWS playoffs EVERY year since inception. Still believe LSU will come away the winner.
Sounds like they need to change their goals. I hear HS fans saying, "You know, so & so made brought his team to the playoffs X number of years in a row" and I tell them, "PLAYOFFS?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME"?? :hihi: Mora had it right but I tell them making the playoffs should not be the goal.......winning a State Championship.......that's goal. Not hacking on you Trojan Princess, just reminded me of that. I guess LSU won't be televised tomm?? I'd take the afternoon off to watch.
Doesn't bother me any, I just heard it and thought it worth mentioning. Taking a look at FS, I will say that the Bulldogs travel well in ALL sports. The Big Red Wave supports their athletes and I expect a big showing tomorrow. They are inconsistent at best. A 5-0 loss to Tennesse back in February may be something to key on in terms of their preparation for LSU. Their pitchers are good, not great. If the Tigers can get some bat going, it should be a 2-3 run advantage at game's end. If LSU has an average game, buckle up.
