If he feels confident about going that high, I just don't see him coming back....I wish he would though.
Is Dorsey considered to be the top DT in the draft if he enters? If not, I think he would definetly be the top if he stayed one more year. Minus any injuries, etc...
He is considered the #1 DT according to Mel Kiper. Alan Branch from Michigan is a very close #2. Some have Branch higher because of his size, 6'6" 330. I feel Dorsey will return because he loves the college game. However he still hasnt announcer, so unti he does I wouldnt doubt anything. I sure hope he returns though to mentor the young stud DTs LSU has assembled.
I dont watch the prospective draft positions that close but if he is the #1 or #2 DT in the draft, he is probably going to go. No need to waste another year if your draft prospects will not increase much, if at all. Add to that the possible injury issue and it becomes a no brainer. Liking the college game or not, this needs to be a business/career decision for him. I hope he stays and I thought he would but if he is going that high, he is probably gone.
Someone on tigerbait claims they heard directly from the horse's mouth that he would be staying for the same reason landry did.. the chance to be a tiger for one more year..
I can bring some versed (sedation) from the hospital...problem is, I'm used to sedating 60+ year olds...not 20 year old BEASTS like Dorsey. I could probably get a few milligrams in him, but it wouldn't work fast enough to prevent him from killing me before it had time to bring him down. :thumb:
You know, a lot of people throw out their opinons on stay/go and $$ but this last post says it all in my book. Yeah I know everyone will say, wouldn't you leave for the money" but I'd have to say. The whole "to be a Tiger for one more year" thing has to have some validity to it. No, I've never been in this position, but I can honestly say after many hours of soul searching I can say with no hesitation that to be tiger for one more year would have to win out for me.
I agree. As well as saying, "to be a Tiger for one more year...", the fact that we're going to be a front-runner for another BCS birth and possible National Title picture, is something else that has to make coming back to LSU more appealling.
