Not trying to take anything from Jimbo Fisher, but thats not REALLY impressive. Neither Josh Booty, nor Davey, nor Mauck started in the NFL. The only spectacular one is JR. And we all know he could've done a better job with him. I mean, look at how Russell improved with Martinez in just 2 months. He looked very polished on his pro day.
Pro QB and college QB are totally different positions. There are a lot of great College QB's that never see the field as a pro. Jimbo was great at developing college QB's for college play. But I do agree that Jimbo could have done more with JR.
Jimbo has no control over how a player does in the NFL. What Jimbo has done is make seven quarterbacks play well enough to be drafted by the NFL. What other position coach has done so? What other SEC quarterback coach has done so?
