  2. Unless you are a USC fan, the AP poll is meaningless. It's not used in the BCS rankings.

  3. This goes to show what a joke the AP poll is. I mean how can you say ECU is a "much better" opponent then Miss. St, yet give Texas a free pass for beating Arkansas State (!!!!) by 8 points? He's an idiot, and it really makes you wonder how many AP voters use this really screwed up logic to determine their poll. Seriously, this is why the AP title is meaningless, because of these idiot voters.
  4. By the way, I think TCU has a pretty decent shot at Texas this weekend.
  5. I don't know why, but this just sounds funny from someone with the screen name of Potted Plant.
  6. Yeah right. Florida sure didn't seem to mind it last year. Who wouldn't want both. Competitors want it all, hell if I sit down to play checkers I MUST win.
  7. Every team (yes, even your other fav team;)) wants to be playing in the BCSNCG game on 1/7/08. Only teams who don't get there will claim a title to some other meaningless poll.

  8. :crystal:

    Every thing else is secondary.

  9. yes, because VT will have played a tougher opponent 2 weeks in a row than LSU did. :)
  10. While I understand what you are saying, it's not meaningless considering two different #1's mean split championship. History and records will reflect that.

Consider the days of the UPI and the AP...it still rings true today.
