Just wondering when and who will blame Harvey on global warming or climate change. Trump will be tied to this to.

Dunno, but we maxed out at 68 degrees today, so thanks, Harvey.

Remember Bush was blamed for Katrina and Sandy because he did go along with a climate treaty.

Can we blame Harvey for the pathetic avocado crop this year? Expensive and puny. Looks like sunny and 75 here today. But CA stills sucks.

Texas has been quite popular for CA migrators. Since 2005, far more Californians have turned Texan than the other way around: 183 Californians moved to Texas for every 100 Texans moving to California. Housing costs are probably the biggest reason. The median cost of a home in CA is $500k. The homeless situation is exploding. We have a housing shortage.

I've watched as developers have gotten fat from development to development and yet they remain mostly empty because nobody can afford it, particularly first-time home buyers. I've seen the bubble before and when it crashed it was ugly.

However, I won't uproot my kids while they are still in school. They aren't looking at Texas universities but they are looking further East and South.

understand the kid motive....btw i lived in CA for about 10 years...i could have bought my rental house for $65k back in 1990...but too many deployments for me to be a homeowner. Of course i wish i had now.
