No way Brady deserves another extension after this season but I think he definetly deserves another year.
Andrew, I think calling Eddie Sutton a second tier coach is a bit of a stretch. The guy would probably still be at Kentucky if it wasnt for the fedex cheating at UK. He's a top notch coach IMHO. I also think Anderson at UAB is a very good coach. Would probably have gotten the Auburn job if the chickens werent so stubborn about the interview process. Im not saying he is top tier but he could be. He's done a lot at UAB with very little. As much as I think Nolan RIchardson is a scum bag he was a darn good BBALL coach and Anderson learned under his leadership.
I don't keep up with BB so I don't comment on it. But looking at the record, this year and overall, would this be acceptable in FB? And if not, why is this acceptable in BB?
Based on this year so far, if the basketball record was converted for football as of right now.... Basketball 18-8, 10-4 Football 8-3, 6-2
I think these are the numbers: BB 18-8 11-4 FB 9-3 6-2 with another win over Vandy, these records would be very compatible, success wise.
Yeah! I don't get it either! We pack 92,000 for football, a team that was above average last year... 9-2 (6-2) Yet we don't show up for basketball, who will be 12-4 in SEC... Last time i checked that was equivilant to 6-2: People need to get out of the caves and realize that maybe if we supported the basketball program as much as we support Spring Football, they would be much better:
