We've also lost a couple games in that endzone recently, '05 Tennessee in OT and '07 Arkansas in OT, thats just what I can think of off hand. Those were the games I was thinking of when we chose that side to defend. But I also said he would miss the FG after he couldn't handle the pressure for the FL game. Glad I was right. :geaux:

Gave Tejada a little gris-gris. First, he felt a slight tickle in the back of his throat. Then, the tickle morphed itself into a full-fledged choke. Victory, LSU.

Maybe the student section has something to do with it. The gave it up in this game. Glad they showed some moxie.

The student section always shows up more than anyone else.

While this is true for most games nearly half the student section was sold to the public for the Arkansas game. Not enough interest I guess. Although the people who did occupy those seats were pretty vocal for the most part even though it was the 1st time for a lot of them.

correct, but it got me wondering why LSU did this.
I bought my tickets from LSUsports.net well over a month ago.

couldn't even view my seats, just a white box saying "reserved for students".

this was before the Bama game.

do students typically not turn out due to holidays?
why else would they put these tickets up for sale to general public that far in advance?

and why the hell are the tubas in the last row of the band?
seems like the golden girls would have been a better view

My guess it is history that students are not on campus after the holiday...even with selling 7 or so sections usually reserved for students I still saw big areas of the student section open. In fact with the "wider" clientele we had in those sections I suggested that anyone feeling cramped in those narrow seats could move over to those open sections.

As far as the band they moved there last season...not sure why but I know what you mean. And as protector of the Golden Girls I'll have to take your suggestion under advisement. :D

overall, I can't complain about the seats.

tuba players put their tubas down when they weren't being played, and i had about 197 times more leg room than normal.

only real complaint was right at beginning of game. the traffic passing in front of that are was HEAVY. couldn't see most of the senior day activities.

i think I'll stick to my normal seats on East sideline.
just wanted to experience sitting in the student section.
