That means the LSU D will have to shut out Alabama. Even Vandy & MSU scored on LSU, and LSU won't get a shut out! Wins over Fla & AU were toss-ups and the outcomes could have gone either way. Totally not impressive! LSU has failed to dominate a quality team to date this year! You think that the AU defense that held a flawless (no turnovers) LSU offense to 17 points in regulation was bad, you don't have a clue. You ain't seen a real bad ass defense, but it's coming in two weeks. Yeah, they're ranked in the Top 10 in all categories ... but mostly they just shut people down! As I posted, LSU's offense has two tune-ups to get some passing game consistency. If they find no improvement, they could easily find themselves in Alabama, embarrassed and out of a SECCG. If they manage improvement and start playing like a team, they'll have a fighting chance in the grinder of Tuscaloosa. You meats can slice it any way you want ... but the facts are these! The Tide is back! They'll be 9-0 facing 7-1 LSU in a real showdown! Bama beat UT at home without Prothro and after scoring only 6 points! How'd Les Miles do at home against Tennessee ... Well you got both wrong. Webster most definitely interfered on the play, and Doucet definitely made a catch on that ball against ASU.
