They don't, well haven't, carried a significant home field advantage in a long time. LONG time. That's one thing that throws me about this spread. I think red hits on part of their reasoning. I believe the increase in the number of points scored at home last year comes into play as well. And, whether it holds true this season or not, I think Vegas is looking at the number of points LSU scored on the road against SEC teams last year as well.
Mississippi State will have a hard time defeating Ass to Mouth in College Station. That said, I expect a great season with us having Louisiana State and Alabama at home. Those cowbells are deafening.
