Didn't he have a heart attack on the sidelines a couple of years ago? No thanks. He lost worse to Saban than Miles, and he just lost worse to Wisconsin than Miles.
I don't like this idea at all. I want somebody younger that can be here for 10 yrs minimum and still be in their coaching prime with energy and ambition. He is a good coach fighting for recruits.up there is tough and he does well against the big 10 boys. However I don't think kids in south know him well and whether he would someone they "can't wait" to play for. Jimbo would be much better in this regard than Dantonio although more expensive. I think you have to look at recruiting connections and influence that they have and if it will be a coach that recruits know and want to play for. With the name recognition and recruiting grounds they know and have influence in, Herman and Fisher are great choices in that regard.
I like it as a plan C . Herman is the obvious plan A , but the last coach we got from Michigan state did pretty well .
