It's very much about recruiting talent but it's just as much about developing the talent you recruit. Miami has signed players that were recruited by every major program in the country, not all of those coaching staffs could have been wrong. Coker and company has done a pitiful job making players out of the prospects they brought in. Not all big time recruits will pan out and many diamonds in the ruff will rise to the top but to say that recruit rankings don't mean squat is just plain crazy talk. All you have to do is look at the top 25 for the last ten years, any team consitantly in the top 25 is pulling in top 25 ranked classes also.
