Baylor actually had a very decent program up until 1995. They were SWC co champs in 1994 and went to a bowl game. They were ranked Top 5 in the country in 1992 as well until losing late. They have a football tradition, and they are dying to get it back.

The dowfall after 1995 is as follows....

Dave Roberts HC 2 years 4-18 record .182% (he of NLU fame and former ND asst under Holtz)
Kevin Steele HC 3 years 6-27 record .182% (fired during the season)

that is all for the BU history for now. :thumb: :hihi:

Good question. Baylor died and went to heaven (at least they think they did since they are Baptists) long ago.

I met him on a skiing trip a couple years ago and let him use one of my parking spots. I had to think twice about letting him, being dressed up in his Auburn garb, but it was X-mas, so I got a lil soft.
He was cool though, for an Auburn ******* :)

Man I ain't believing this, dheadtiger exposing a soft spot. The sky really is falling

Seriously, I have met Kevin Greene too and if he asked to use my parking space I would say yes sir. He is one more tough dude. If you make eye contact with those wild eyes of his you get goosebumps.

In all fairness, I think Bama grads are more likely to choke their coach. Maybe that's just in basketball.

And Mesquite, how on Earth do you know that much about Baylor??? I didn't think their own graduates would know that much!! Impressive...

I am a Tiger fan since birth, but was not really given an option to attend there by the financial guru of the family (know what I mean?). so I went to Baylor for an education. I cheer for LSU first and foremost, but I have a soft spot for BU since I spent a lot of time there........terrible football there, but a fairly good baseball team. great place to go to school, very well respected here in Texas.

    helmet heads

    Kevin Greene=Grant Wistrom=Kyle Turley="The Boz"=Howie Long= Richard Cranium

    i.e. hothead blowhard.

If Kevin Greene choked Kevin Steele I'd give Steele a medal and then hire him. Then I'd give Greene the number of the WWF...
