Hey Vandytime, what was the last bowl that Vandy went to? No I am not mocking Vanderbilt, I am asking with all seriousness.

I can't remember which bowl, but it seems like I heard on a sports talk show up here in Knoxville that it was something like 1982 or 1983.

We need this series with vandy this weekend. Things start getting a little tougher down the road.

    Who's starting

and what are the strenghts ? I'm assuming Jeremy Sowers will be starting for the Dores, but thats just a guess. Sowers record doesn't show it, but he is a great pitcher. We will have to hit the ball the way we have of late (weekend games that is) and have great pitching to have ANY chance this weekend. I just hope our baseball program can turn into a program like LSU has now. We are getting there. See ya at the game(the redneck looking VU fan).

Marchbanks for SC gave the Tiger hitters a lot of trouble. If Sowers is that kind of southpaw it could be tough for LSU. Look out though. LSU is hitting well from 1 to 9 and an opposing pitcher has to have his "A" game to beat us.

Looks like he had his "A" game. Let's hope the rest of Vandy's pitchers don't have theirs.
