Congrats! It will change the way you see the world and also make you wonder what you did before you had kids. Their, let's say, time consuming but it's SO ENJOYABLE! When they look at you and call you daddy, it's going to squish your heart. :thumb: Bullshhhit, wait til they're teenagers.....one Flinstone vitamin.....one birth control pill. :hihi:
Very awesome man! But in response to tiga's comment...if you ever wonder what you did before you had kids, i can always let you know.:thumb:
Yes, congratulations to you and your wife, Bengal!! The great thing about a couple having their first child is all parties are new at the job. "You spend the first two years teaching them to walk and talk... and the next 16 telling them to sit down and shut up."
If you think the pregnancy gets old for the guy, imagine how it feels for the woman--when every pound she gains is one pound heavier than she's ever been before! Talk about a humbling experience... But on a note about being a parent, it's bar none the BEST experience of my life. My older daughter will be in first grade next year, and I can't imagine where the time has gone--or what I did before Sloane came along. She's even ready for her first Tiger Stadium experience this fall, when we're in Baton Rouge for Thanksgiving. My two are spaced 3.5 years, and that's actually turned out pretty well.
Congrats AB, I hope everything goes well for all and you get a fine healthy Tiger (I won't say what kind of Tiger):thumb:
Congrats ABengal! Very good news indeed! A heads up for you bro ...get plenty of ice cream, pickles, olives, and peanut butter. You'll understand why at 11pm. They'll never ask for it at a reasonable time. Always an unexpected request at an unexpected time! God be with you and your new family! :thumb:
Congrats! Hope the pregnancy goes well for her. Watching a little person grow, even in the womb, is amazing. From a peanut to a little human. Truly a miracle that you will never forget.
