A great friend of mine is very strong on : Lexicon by Max Barry.

I got it on kindle, but have not started it yet, but this guy is a pretty good judge of a good read.

If you like non-fiction, try The First War of Physics: A Secret History of the Atom Bomb 1939-1949 by Jim Baggott. It's out in paperback now. Good narrative of the science, espionage, and politics of the American, German and Soviet efforts at developing the atomic weapon.

48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene. Found out I am getting a new boss and he lives by this book... which is disgusting considering he is an educator. "If you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles." - Sun Tzu
