Taxes on the middle class are much lower now w/ the Bush tax cuts than they were with Clinton. Who's f'n the middle class?
I'm not really sure that's relevant to the discussion, but that argument is true if you're playing really fast and loose with the definition of "middle class". Depends who you ask and what argument you're trying to make. They're typically not the ones who make plans to raise a billion dollars for a Presidential candidate I would think.
Well, your entire post about the recession was bitching about unemployment today and mentioned nothing about GDP nor the fact that the recession ended in the summer of 2009. I respond to what you write, I can't read you mind. The point is that unemployment is not caused or measured by unemployment.
Well Reddy, all the numbers still suck. I am glad you are so happy about 8.1% unemployment and a shrinking GDP again. Nice attempt to divert attention to what I really said. “I will be held accountable,” Obama said. “I’ve got four years and … A year form now, I think people are going to see that we’re starting to make some progress, but there’s still going to be some pain out there … If I don’t have this done in three years, then there’s going to be a one-term proposition.” Obama 2009 Obviously Obama was joking with us.
GDP is still positive and unemployment is still dropping. Facts is facts. New unemployment claims drop; key report projects stronger job growth Private sector jobs up, jobless claims down I think he was just dicking with you. It is a lot of fun.
From your link LOL So Strong. "However, there is a technical reason to doubt this claims number because it comes at the very end of the quarter and many people will postpone filing for unemployment insurance until the beginning of a new quarter because it can increase their benefit check. So you might see a bigger increase early in July." "It is the last week of the quarter. People might wait for the beginning of the third quarter before they file. It might be some seasonal factors. Expect it to snap back next week."
