1. Lock it, delete it, and burn it. Just give me a few minutes to go back and laugh at smiley's demise one more time.

  2. Post of the year.

We will look back years from now and exclaim "Hey you remember when Smilodon got gang banned?". And a lot of the new members will be

  3. I think what Slidell is trying to say is that it'd be nice to at least have bigger guys available to rotate in. We actually don't have a Aghayere-sized DE this year to put in when you really need a bigger body (at least, not to my knowledge).

  4. This thread has been a piece of shit thread from the start. Smilo started off with a cut and paste post from another site and it has gone downhill since. I'd vote for not only locking this thread but completely deleting it.

  5. Yet. Any team that is replacing 8 starters is going to take a few games to gel. Be patient.
  6. 8 starters, most teams can't survive that

    LSU will

  7. Some seem to forget this.

Elvis Dumerville is 5'11" 260 and one of the top players in the NFL. Watched the Falcons the other day, the retirement of Todd McClure to me is seen on the OL. Hes one of those too small, too light and too old. A 7th round pick that did well in the NFL. You can play football or you can't, its that simple.

  8. Lets not forget about that little player that nobody but Les offered a chance. HB7? TM7? They also said he was too small to play in the nfl if I remember correctly.

  9. Sort of like the comments that Tyrann Mathieu would struggle to make it in the pros because of his size.

ETA: gyver beat me to it.
  10. At 6'5", 275lb Frank Herron is actually bigger than Chauncey. Danielle Hunter has Edwards' height, but is about 15-20lbs lighter, currently. But weight, alone, is not necessarily an advantage at DE. Strength and speed at a slightly lower weight is seems to produce better results.
