The scalping law is going to have to be adjusted though because of surcharges. In reality someone in the south end zone pays 36 plus about 12 dollars per ticket.
DO NOT BUY ANY TICKETS OFF EBAY FROM SOME GUY IN ENGLAND/UK. I know of more than a few people that have been ripped off by this guy.
True, but legally I think you can only charge the value printed on the ticket, so you can't get your surcharge back.
Ok thanks for the help It sucks that because of these ticket brokers, the true fans get screwed and or have to pay outta the ass to see the games.
I came across that person at several different sites trying to sell tickets for cheaper than everyone else before the Sugar Bowl. Major BEWARE sign.
Is Ebay the way to go to buy away tickets? This looks to be my last year as a student and I'm trying to get tickets to the auburn or Florida game. People keep telling me that there should be a way to get them through LSU but I have no clue about any of this since it is my first away game. Can anyone help me out? Thanx in advance.
Try going to the opp. teams web forum boards I have gotten tickets for away games for USC and Fl by doing that.
The Auburn University ticket office just began offering a "Louisiana" package...the LaMonroe and LSU games for about $60 I think.
If you are buying UGA/LSU tickets on E bay don't worry about the face value, you are not going to get any tickets near that amount. They are going to be very expensive for sure and may actually go up instead of down due to demand. Last year I decided not to buy UGA/LSU tickets on E Bay because they kept going up due to demand and this year will probably be worse unless one of the team gets a couple of early losses. Just pay whatever you want and don't worry about the laws, they are going to go after the sellers if they can, not the buyers.
