There is NO reason whatsoever to play JaMarcus Russell in the Peach Bowl. Why risk getting your QB injured further - for what? If it was for the SEC Champ or National Championship by all means play him, but being the Peach Bowl Champs and a $1.00 will get you a cup of coffee at Circle K.

I agree that he won't play, but thats because i don't think he will be healthy. Whats kind of drugs are you on to think that if he was healthy that he wouldn't play? He has been our starting QB all year, he has made leaps and bounds in improvments, and finally he didn't play bad enough to lose the starting job. He didn't even play a bad game at all. If he had more than 1 1/2 seconds to make a decision, and less drive killing penalties by the O Line, he would have been able to do more. As it was he was running for his life out there. It didn't matter if you had RP or Mike Vick out there, you gotta have a little time to do your thing.

I saw JaMarcus at the basketball game last night, and his arm was in a sling. There's a 2% chance he plays in the Peach Bowl.
