1. Other than humor, these preseason rankings don't provide much. LSU should at least be in the 10-17 neighborhood. I guess we'll just have to wait until the real raters come back and kick these guys out of their office
  2. Although these preseason rankings don't mean a whole lot, Staples is one of their more credible writers. Hopefully he sees things differently closer to the season.
  3. So how much does Bama pay their female officials in comparison to their male officials?
  4. I wonder how much of this is due to the Ole Miss game. I think that game really hurt this team in more ways than we could have imagined, especially in the court of public opinion, with the pollsters.
  5. Well said. The PSU didnt help either.
  6. Winning big games tends to solve a lot of those problems.
  7. This. If we get back to the seccg all will be good in tigerland.
  8. i don't think LSU really earned much of a preseason ranking based solely upon the way they've finished the last two seasons, but a 20-25 ranking definitely wouldn't be a terrible stretch. quite frankly, rankings don't mean much in the SEC (as lsudolemite pointed out,) so as long as we "take care of business" we'll be ranked up there at the end of the season.

  9. Bama needs to be on the Top pre-season ! Yep

agree with all of it and bring on the mighty Tar Heels / Mountaineers / Vols/ Gators /
    Bama/ War Eagles / Ole piss/ Hogs !

If we roll through this we deserve the spoils of returning to Atlanta.
  10. Pre-season rankings are about as useless as tits on a bull.
