In my opinion, this gw crap is another way to 1) raise taxes to spend on enviromentalist causes. Enviromentalist that have influence on democratic lawmakers due to campaign money they give 2)cause oil companies as much hell as possible due to their contributions to mostly republicans. Enviromentalist also hate oil companies because they say they are destroying the earth. Without oil we can't run our cars, produce plastics, produce fertilizers or some very important medicines. This doesn't matter at all to them. Big oil donates to republicans so they are the enemy. 3) regulations on both business and the public is a way to seize more power by the government. The regulations inacted would put government in control of the manufacturing of goods by companies. For the enviromental good, government would control what and how things are produced and what products people can own. A backdoor attempt to impliment socialism in America by liberals. 4) global treaties that would put America under the influence of U. N. In the name of enviromental safety. Rules made to limit global warming would infringe on US sovereign rights. Anything to weaken American power is seen as a good thing to many other countries. America should not give in to any gw regulations or treaties unless russia, china, India , brazil and every other country follow the exact same rules. Global warming is more about POLITICAL POWER than anything else. The earth has been ice free and has been a snowball in the past. It is beyond stupid and highly arrogant to believe that we can stop the earth from changing. Antarticia has had temprate forest on it. The equator has had glacers. All this before humans evolved yet. All this global warming crap is a play for power. The people who favor global warming regulations are the same people who are pro union quasi socialist liberal progressives. Global warming is a money racket that has grown to a governmental power grab.
We have ice core data extending back before the age of modern humankind. It's an entirely safe assumption. Of course it has. As I explained to you before in at least two threads . . . Just because you have no idea doesn't mean that others don't. The consensus of the worlds climate experts agree and wrote a major international report on it. I've documented point after point to you but you apparently have a short attention span.

I don't care what the science says. It doesn't even matter. Is spending billions to fight CO2 the most effective way to save human lives? For a fraction on what cap and trade would cost we could rid the world of diseases that kill thousands.
