I just destroyed your argument against Southern with facts. "They" didn't give out anything. The computer system said "give a degree to this person" so degrees were given out. The same thing could happen at LSU in the hands of ONE person with mainframe access. How do I know this? Because I've seen it done.
In order for the computer to spit out degrees, someone had to write the program. Again, I destroyed your agrument with facts. I hope you are not trying to justify the fake degrees.
You are showing your complete lack of knowledge. Southern uses the same IBM MVS mainframe system that LSU uses. Certain employees have access to do certain things in the system.... add and remove class schedules, change grades, etc. Obviously you know that the employees at the highest levels don't have time to check over every single transcript and verify that every graduating student actually went to all of those classes and made those grades. Employees are given access to the system and given certain levels of trust. I cannot even name the amount of times that LSU employees have been caught changing grades and falsifying transcripts. Is that the fault of LSU or of the offending employees? Bottom line is the offender was caught and punished. What facts? You know nothing about the situation and it shows.
Listen to me son, It was reported in the advocate when it happened, their was a teacher from Opelousas who admited received a fake degree and has not even stepped foot on campus. It has been going on a lot longer than intially reported. Lack of knowlege, kiss my ass. On a different occurance, the su band was caught on an audit where money was unaccounted for, and it was not just a few bucks. As for as grambling, a state audit revealed millions missing from their general opperating account, no one was held accountable. Both southern and grambling are an embarrassement to the state of La, and really should be shut down. The state of florida which has 21 million people has fewer 4 year schools than louisiana. Since both schools have no control, they need to be shut down. Those are facts, go dig them up for yourself, and next time you question facts, come a little more prepared.
