    Congrats to everyone on the team and the coaching staff for a season that went beyond expectations. I think Wally would have been proud of this bunch. Smoke deserves extra kudos. Look out in 2004.

    I couldnt agree more, SoLa in NoIll. Even thught we didnt go all the way, this team overcame a hell of a lot over the past year. They will be dangerous in 04.

    Couldn't have said it better myself...
    When you look at all the facts, this team went above and beyond what was expected.
    -The tragic loss of Wally, a team leader and a great person
    -9 position players with season ending injuries
    -No CWS experience whatsoever
    I'm really proud of this team and what they accomplished this year...the boxscore doesn't tell the whole story.

  6. I would be lying if I said I didnt want us to win at least one game at the CWS but I am proud of all the players and coaches for getting back to Omaha. That should be the prime objective every year for the Tigers. Nice job guys!
