You could not have scripted a better way to close out the box. Amazing season, way way over achieved. Amazing team, awesome to watch this year.
Great season for a bunch of (for the most part) rookies... Like I have said before.. this was not their year.. this is a warm-up for next year when the dynasty resumes... remember, LSU average a championship every 3 years in the 90s... not every year... this young team will dominate next year... Geaux Tigers...

when Shimpf lined it up the middle, I started counting the outs. Even had it figured that Clark could come up as the go ahead run with 2 outs. I love this team. Looking forward to breaking in the New Box the same way we sent out the Old one.
Early in the year,I told a friend of mine"we need a streak ,maybe win ten or so games in a row in the conference". Three weeks later they begin THE streak.Wow,unbelievable run for these guys.They sure made this season enjoyable. Thanks to all the players and coaches. As several here have said .... this team made LSU baseball fun to watch. Several of my friends (not LSU fans, but baseball fans) started followng the Tigers and their "refuse to loose" attitude. That made the season even more enjoyable. Thanks Tigers, Coach PM and staff, what a wonderful ride. Thanks to all of you on TF for the pbp and to PK for the feed - because of all of you those of us outside of LA could follow our Tigers and enjoy the season. ldskule::tigbas:
