Yeah I guess not Cajunpunk. Must be why I spent 5 hours (initially plus a few more hours refining it) on how we get a BCS bowl berth thread, since I hate LSU so much.
Well then every bad thing that happens must be Miles fault and every good thing should be because of someone else. He see's these people every single day but yet you are so much smarter than him. We should fire miles now and hire someone that can lose 10 and win 2. That way you can be happy. Until then all you Miles basher's will just have to suffer through 10 game winning seasons until Miles decides to leave.
Ouch. I think it is ok to question the coaching, but understand that there are people out there who aren't haters. I haven't been a big fan of his these last two years, but I can't argue with what I have seen this year. We have played an impossible schedule with 3 road games at top 5 teams and 1 road game at a top 10 team. That's an impossible schedule by most people's defintion, and we camme out of it 2-2, and should have at least been 3-1 if not for the ref'ing in that Aubarn game.
I am nowhere close to a Miles basher. I never once called for his firing. But I do question a philosophy that did not give the LSU offense the best chance at succeeding early on in the season (i.e., once we started playing real competition). And I stick by my guns. And maybe hindsight is 20-20, but that's what Les Miles is getting paid MILLIONS of dollars for. To make those kind of decisions. That being said, I'm glad we're not talking about the political upheaval the Arky poster alluded to regarding their starting QB situation. That looks nasty.
About the announcers particularly Vern Lundquist, I hear that Pat Summerall is looking for an anouncing job.:hihi: :lol:
Those announcers were alumni of the Pig People you would have thought after hearing there BULL SH*T all afternoon. McFadden could do no wrong and they were on his jock all day long. They said a few LSU pro quotes throughout the day but mostly favored the pig people. My favorite quote for LSU was when they said Bo Pellini said that Arkansas could not throw and he didnt even worry about them passing all week long. Bottom line we won the game and we have a chance for a BCS game.. :lsup: :lsup: :helmet: :helmet: LSU! LSU!
