If you make it down just keep in touch here before you leave and how long you will be around. I'm sure you will find plenty of us willing to point you in the right directions for food and fun. Personally for seafood I like Drusillas and Brunets. Mike Andersons is great also. Game day you have to see the band coming down the "hill". Usually about 2 hours before gametime. Ask anyone any they will tell you where to find it.

Rudy, you can make the drive in just under 7 hours IF you don't leave McKinney at rush hour and IF you don't stop (except once for gas). I've lived up here for nine years, and I've made the trip more times than I can count, and I USED to be able to make the drive in that time--because I'd just stop for gas and fast food in Natchitoches and go on.

Now, I have two young daughters, and it takes 8 to 8 and a half hours, because we have to actually go into a restaurant and take a break. Most of the time, though, we can get away with one and, at the most, two stops during the trip--so I think that's pretty good for a family with a four-year-old and an infant.

Rudy, I may have to look into making a game in Denton (I've been once before)--but only if LSU isn't playing that day.

I have made that drive and it should take no more than 7 hrs it took me around 6 if my memory serves. Its a nice drive since I-49 is finished. Check out Tiger Land plaza after the game, you should have fun. :thumb: Alot of the post game crowd ends up at the bars there. Have fun and good luck to the Mean Green..well for all the games after the LSU game anyway. You should check out the tailgating crowd before the game also. They will feed you well even though you are from NT, if you don't mind a little ribbing.:yelwink2:

Like he says, you should be able to find some nice folks who'll gladly take you in and treat you like an old friend. If you fall in the right crowd, you'll find that Saturday around Tiger Stadium is almost as good as the game...I said almost. Have a safe trip and be sure and return to TigerForums after the game to let us know your impressions. :eek:ldskule:

Best of luck to you guys this weekend, hopefully we can give you guys a run for your money, at least before the first quarter ends. The second quarter has killed us all year.
Anyways wish I could make it down to Baton Rouge.

I was kidding with you Rudy. I wasn't trying to smack you. The smack came from a few crybabies who don't like it when I call a spade a spade.

Didnt bother me. Like I said, I have to put up with SMU fans and their smack. A couple of years ago, their very own students were betting on how bad they would lose.

Oh, and to add to my post about NT's team. Our OC is Ramon Flannigan, a former QB from SMU. Our OC used to play for SMU. That should sum up our palycalling. Shoot, even the refs knew we were running the ball up the middle on a 3rd and 28 last week.

Moving on, What are the things allowed in the stadium. I have a flag, is it allowed, what about the pole? Any other helpful info?
