Ole Miss redshirt junior linebacker Denzel Nkemdiche will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a broken ankle in Saturday's 10-7 loss at LSU. [+] Enlarge Wesley Hitt/Getty ImagesDenzel Nkemdiche had 28 tackles in seven games this season. Coach Hugh Freeze confirmed Nkemdiche's injury to ESPN.com and said that Nkemdiche underwent ankle surgery Sunday. Nkemdiche, who had recorded 28 tackles and a sack in seven games this season, injured his ankle in the first quarter of Saturday's game and did not return. He was seen wearing a walking boot in the second half of the game. The former freshman All-American and two-time All-SEC second-team member has 145 total tackles and four sacks during his career. Senior Serderius Bryant will replace Nkemdiche at his outside linebacker spot. Bryant, who has four starts this season, led the Rebels with 78 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and three forced fumbles in 2013. His brother, defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche, and former All-American safety Cody Prewitt also missed time late against LSU with unspecified injuries. Left tackle Laremy Tunsil left the game with a pulled right biceps but later returned. Freeze said they are "day-to-day."
Hasn't been that long ago, that it seemed every team we played felt like they'd been on the wrong end of an ass whipping after the game.
Especially considering many of them were complaining about Wallace being a douche because he held up three fingers to the crowd and head butted Adams. Wallace was in an emotional game. I only fault him for not showing class by congratulating LSU afterwards. These are adults who are just fans joking about a season ending injury. Now that is classless.
There is no need to cheer a player having a season ending injury. Call me PC or not, but that is just classless. Each of you would be up in arms if someone rejoiced in a Tiger having a season ending injury.
