Thats the first legit stadium I've seen. If you can get me a name, I will give you a pint of whiskey at the next game.

    1. What the hell is a tromphe l'oiel or whatever , I thought it was a pretty good example of what looked like a browning to me.

    2. No way in hell I'm shelling out 7 hoops for a cake! I don't care if it is an exact replica of the roman colosseum. In the end you either eat it or throw it out or if you really have a few screws loose you put it in the freezer. This is supposedly done because at some point you will take it out later to remember the special day. This usually happens when you no longer have room in your freezer for deer meat or red fish and well.... you throw it out.

tromphe l'oiel means realistic imagery. using one medium to realistically depict something else. art term. i've seen a lot of clay art that realistically depicts other things. such as a clay sculpture that looks exactly like a leather bag. in this case it is a cake that looks realistically like a browning. so, you were right.

I had some of the Gun Case tonight for a snack. Still has a great taste to it.

7 hoops? Don't think money came too much into play here. The band was brought in from Fla.:thumb:
