Who is they? And why? It makes no sense... unless 'they' were talking about the Southeastern Division of C-USA.
Makes no sense. Why would they want to be in a conference that they are no where near geographically. They would never get to see their teams play when that far from home. Also, why would they wish a death sentence on their programs, they'll have losing records in almost every sport.
I agree with everyone that it makes no sense whatsoever - I'm from Iowa and only live 30 miles from the Iowa State campus; it would be fantastic for me to see LSU make the trip up here to embarass them in football!! Having made a trip to Death Valley a couple years ago there is no comparison to gameday atmosphere - maybe you guys could help teach them!! Iowa State's best sports are currently women's basketball and volleyball - beyond that they wouldn't bring much in the way of competition. Chalk it up to fear of the Big "12" or whatever they call themselves these days disbanding and and ISU not being able to find a conference willing to take them...
