i wanted to title this "whoring out the baseball broadcast" but i figured that was a bit blunt. but that is what lsu is doing. for the past probably 10 minutes we have been hearing all about oschner hospitals. we know all about their maternity wards. how they feel about health care. yada yada. i want the freaking baseball game when i listen to a baseball game! how much did they pay to hijack the radio broadcast???? someone stop this mf'in madness!
It's either that or Hanagriff and Hawthorne exchange dumb stories for half the game. Either way you're not getting a score update within 10 minutes of turning on the radio.
there's a great idea! but we were barely getting any pbp and it was obviously secondary. as minimal as it could be, and almost like it was an interruption to the oschner commercial. it went on at least 15 minutes. i understand game sponsorship. i understand make money. but when it takes over the broadcast to such an extent, well, dat's not good, imo. especially when one pays for the geaux zone so they can get the games.
