for some reason I read him on occassion and I just happened to check out a Q&A he had with jimbo. it was very unprofessional; b/c he added comments after the interview taking shots instead of while he gave the interview. pretty lame if you ask me. here's one:

the reader comment was pretty funny:

I'm wondering where Coach Comment did all his coaching?

Glenn, no comment on that last answer? You have a brilliant opportunity to show your superior intelligence and football sense over these so-called football coaches one more time, and you pass it up? Here, let me fill in for you:

COMMENT: It's obvious that the LSU coaches have no idea what they are doing and that if I were coaching they would have won. There is really no longer any point to going on about this season, since it's effectively over now anyway.

We are wasting so much talent on offense by running this crap.

Will Jimbo come back next year? The word from a few HS coaches I talk to (who are close to Jimbo) is that he won't....we'll see. Maybe he will be given more control of the offense.

I am not the biggest fan of Jimbo but I hate to think who Miles would bring in,
or worse take over the play calling himself.
With the talent LSU always has at the skill positions I would love to see some kind of spread offense.

So is Glen saying this was this was the wrong call or is he saying that a correct call that goes your way means you shouldn't care about getting screwed at some other point?

I don't know. Miles brought in Pellini, so it definitely looks to me like he surrounds himself with the best possible assistants.

And for the record, he had some pretty impressive offensive performers @ OSU (the Woods brothers come instantly to mind). Besides, we don't exactly have an abysmal offense here (but people were even complaining in '03).

I certainly don't have a problem with the defense. What concerns me is they are not running the offense to suit there talent. Miles does'nt seem flexible, instead he sounds like he will stick to what he believes in even though it might not be in the best interest of the team.

Well, since you are so intimately involved with the personnel through newspapers, internet and TV, please tell us what you would do.
