The strength of this offense is the qb, 4 recievers who all seem very capable and a offensive line that pass blocks better than run block. You will not run the ball against a good defense with the current set of backs and a o-line that at this point does'nt run block very well. You do not have to be involved with the team to see this.
Last time I checked ULL didn't have NFL-caliber receivers on their team. We do. But that's not the point. I don't subscribe to abandoning the running game, not with Daunte Jamarcus Culpepper Russell throwing the ball. But given the lack of quality on the offensive line (which is completlely on Miles, lack of recruiting) I would like to see Flynn play more as he can make plays which is arm and feet.
WHAT????? Miles????? Miles has only had 2 recruiting classes one limited to around 15 players. The lack of quality linemen falls mostly on Saban but hasn't gotten better with Miles first two classes. However you don't see many true and redshirt freshmen playing OL on big time teams so if you want to blame someone you have to blame Saban.
Miles signed five O lineman last class. I'm no Miles groupie but if you're going to criticize him at least pick something that makes sense.
