I wasn't arguing with you, just with a general position of many people on the board.

I was talking about Cliff Kingsbury. Maybe I was thinking practice squad, 'cus you're right about McPherson. Maybe CK will be 3rd on the depth chart now??

no ruth may be on the top 100 list for strikeouts but he led his league in walks many years he played. i think reggie jackson is still the leader if sosa hasnt caught him yet.

As far as comparing k's to td:int, its a pretty bad comparison since an INT is about 100x more detrimental than an out. Its also good since many of these strikeout kings often hit into dp's because they are quite slow.

edit: kliff kingsbury is with the jets. you can add him to the list of qb greats Leach has tutored: tim couch, josh heupel and bj symons. cody hodges is his next record setter.

Doesn't mean you can't have an opinion on it.

Almost every QB is a backup at one point in their career. When Rohan and Mauck were starters fans calling for them to sit the bench were in the minority. Don't know if you were joking or not.

I definitely have an opinion, but I don't see where it would affect the position.

The thread is about who will be the starter. I think it will be JR. I think it should be JR. upsizin is creating ridiculous scenarios and wants to know what I would do in those cases. Well, it doesn't matter what I would do because I don't have a say.

A TON of GREAT qb in college are busts in the nfl...THE arguement here is college QB's, I know you must feel like you are constantly right. These high powered offenses you are talking about relates nothing to changs system of offense. Not close to high powered. They knew he was the only chance for them to win was passing! Now these other high powered offenses you are talking about, please name one that comes close to Hawaiis passing attack while they had chang? Florida has a high powered offense. They don't throw it close to as much. LSU's HIGH powered offense doesn't even throw as much as a lot of the teams in the SEC. You can have a high powered offense with an amazing running game, you are making it sound high powered offenses have to throw a lot!
