I didn't delete the post that appears to be the main reason why TE started this thread, but I do agree that it needed to be deleted, It didn't state an opinion as some have posted should be allowed, it stated something that could be harmful to a player that has not been verified by anyone other than his secret source, which we have seen in the past month is usually total BS. He thinks we should rely on his years of posting as to his credibility and the sources credibility, I disagree. Back it up or don't post it. Some one else posted that anything should be allowed in order to educate the players, how does posting a story that is quite possibly not true educate a player. If it can be verified & confirmed, than post it. I went back and looked at the deleted threads this moring and there have been about 20 of them since the first of the year. Several, about 7 or 8 of them were actually deleted by the thread starter for some reason. 4 were deleted as duplicate threads that were started at the same time, I wonder if there is a way to just combine the threads instead of deleting one of them altogether. 3 or 4 of the deleted threads were the ones that stated something harmful about a player that cannot be proven at all at this time. One of them was the Ramah/TE thread that even TE admits should have been deleted. A couple of the threads I have no idea why they were deleted. I would suggest that all of the moderators and Brett have some type of discussion to learn Brett's feelings on the matter as it is his board and he deleted most of the threads in question that many here are blaming others for deleting.
I think it's a bunch of Bull**** to ban or zap posts from LSU fans. Unless they are absolutely horrible, and I have maybe seen only a couple like that, why ban em? However, we must give AU fans the same treatment they give LSU fans on on the Auburn boards, smoke their asses for not bowing down to LSU and fans.

The same people that have been right a million times before. I don't feel so bad for being "wrong" because the man told his own staff the night before he accepted the Miami job he was NOT leaving for any other job. .......... At this point I don't mind if you find satisfaction in flaming away at me.......I'm a big boy. Funny this topic has come up because Ive notice over the last month what appears to be a little over moderation. Brett needs to devise a moderation policy that all the mods can adhere to and stick with it. There is nothing worse than inconsistant moderation and moderation that appears "nazi'ish" if thats a good word for it. I dont want to come here and read nothing but sunshine pumpers wearing purple and gold colored glasses. If you cant look at yourself in the mirror and be critical then something is wrong. Everything about LSU is not always going to be good news and thats just part of life.
I was waiting for another mod to point that out. Thanks. These "newbie" mods like myself and cajdav1 are not deleting very much. We're only here to help brett out, when it comes to moderating. Some people visit this forum, and other forums, simply to cause trouble. You'd be amazed at some of the BS by trolls with less than five posts that gets deleted.
