I am all over Thor and Captain America. Transformers looked just as stupid as the 2nd one. I am kinda intrigued by Cowboys and Aliens.

Something just looked off to me with Captain America, Thor on the other hand, I wish that would come out today. Cowboys and Aliens does look interesting.

The Super Bowl halftime show should be produced by the host city. Make it part of the bid process, although the NFL should continue to foot at least part of the bill. Recent halftime shows have been these canned generic blobs of nothing, and the biggest thing missing has been local flair. I enjoyed The Who during the Saints' Super Bowl, but that could have been done anywhere. The last Super Bowl in New Orleans featured the Blues Brothers. The Blues Brothers? What the h-e-double hockey sticks do they have to do with New Orleans? The New Orleans NBA All Star game hafltime show was the best I've ever seen, and it was pure NOLA. Let's see what Super Bowl cities can offer us musically. Got to be better than this year's crapp.
