The NCAA has announced punishment for Kentucky recruiting violations. They include loss of some scholarships, and get this - NO BOWL GAMES NEXT YEAR

Since when has a bowl game ban been a real punishment for Kentucky?

    NCAA report

I'm sure Kramer will pull whatever strings necessary to get Bama a slap on the wrist while LSU and Kentucky get hammered. It's all who you know.

I agree. LSU got pounded by the NCAA because of the NCAA's resentment over never being able to find any wrongdoing by Dale Brown in the 80's. When they finally had something, they tacked it on to the other incidents they'd conjured up over the years.

If Alabama football is punished accordingly to the way LSU basketball was, they should get the death penalty. Of course it won't happen, and I have nothing against Bama football, but I don't recall many programs being punished as severely as LSU BB was for the violations that actually occurred.

How many times has 'Bama been caught with their hands in the cookie jar in the last decade??
