    He's completely wrong. Katrina killed 2,000 people and incurred twice the damages dollars. Politicians let their rhetoric get out of hand sometimes. They know never to make comparisons like that, even if they were true. In this case they were huge whoppers.

    People wise it is my understanding that Sandy has touched more, but you are right in that both were terrible. I do not know why a comparison would need to be made other than figuring out aid which is the essence of his discussion.

    Katrina did more than double the monetary damage than Sandy, and killed 1,700+ more people, and hit a lesser populated area. Sandy was a kitten compared to Katrina. Harry Reid is nothing more than a delusional window licker.
