Punt was the right call you just hope your veteran punter does a better job punting the ball.

Just curious, when was the last time we had this many wins and no SEC championships to go with them?

Unfortunately for Mr Miles, those are the fans that see LSU with no timeouts with an entire 4th quarter to play and say WTF?

To those fans, it makes it look like we are very disorganized far too often.

And these are the fans who think when we lose it's all Miles' fault yet when we win they win in spite of Miles. They blame him for everything and give him credit for nothing. It worries me that a lot of the LSU fan base is like this.

In your opinion. I think you are dead wrong, though. There were 12 or 13 of us watching the game and we all said "punt the ball". You cannot chance a failed 4th down attempt with the field position it would have given to Arkansas. Unfortunately the punt sucked, but, fortunately, it turned out OK because we won the game. Naturally, fans want to go for it because that's what fans do. Coaches don't let emotions overrule common sense. To go for it on 4th and 2 (I think) would have been foolhardy. I'd much rather a coach with a cool head who sees the big picture. You go Les. Screw the haters.

I can't believe Im about to say this, but I agree with SF. We HAD to punt the ball. Give McF a short field would have been idiotic and probably cost us the game. And I thought the coaching was the best it's been all year.
