In Van's defense, he was a stop gap. He's done OK. He'd probably be a winner with Siemone and Sylvia too.
He's not sustaining the program even though he recruited players that should have allowed him to do so and easily. In that regard he has failed. Stop gap or whatever you want to call it needs to end after this season.
In their best years, LSU ladies will never compete consistently with Tennessee, UConn, Duke, Baylor, etc. I'm not saying a change isn't needed but success would be winning the SEC West.
I think they can. I mean 5 straight Final Fours counts for something. I think Chancellor will leave after this season. He doesn't seem like he wants to do this anymore.
They should have made it to the championship game against Stanford. If they would have won that game against Tennessee but they did'nt BOX OUT!!!!!!!!!!
They were very much in 3 of the 5 final fours. Twice to Tennessee (both devastating losses) and against Baylor in which they led up until about the 7 minute mark of the game.
