1. Hope he's a better coordinator in the college game than he is in the pros, if that happens.
  2. What I like about him is he runs a pro style offense and is a guy that would command 100% of the offensive control.

  3. Cam has shown that he can develop quarterbacks, i.e. Drew Brees, Philip Rivers, Joe Flacco, and to a lesser extent Antwaan Randle El at Indiana. His offenses were also very proficient in the running game with guys like LaDainian Tomlinson (San Diego), Ray Rice (Baltimore), and Ronnie Brown (Miami), all of whom led the league in rushing under his guidance.

If Cam is willing to come to Baton Rouge, I say get him. We have not had a decent OC since Jimbo left, and I just can't believe he could be any worse than Crowton or the Unholy Trinity that has run the offense the past two seasons.
  4. He may be great at development, but the dude makes insane play calls.
  5. How would you describe the playcalling for LSU the last 2 years..............the last 2 minutes of the 2012 season? It is a question BTW.;)
  6. That's a valid statement. The passing game did get noticeably more vanilla over the course of that season. Look, even the staunchest Miles supporters will concede that the offensive play calling needs improvement.
    Attack Tiger likes this.
  7. I agree with that, but I'm not sold on his playcalling or player development. Those are two of the main reasons he was run off at Baltimore during the season. However you are correct that almost anything would be an improvement even if the only real change is getting Miles away from the offense.
  8. I don't keep up with pro football much and I don't have an opinion on Cam Robinson, but I'm watching NE and Baltimore right now, and it's pretty obvious what's wrong with the Raven's offense. Their receivers can't catch the ball.
  9. So who is Cam Robinson?
  10. Honestly, it would be a disappointment if Miles hired an OC that wasn't an improvement, but seeing that he is willing to make a change would outshine that disappointment. I'm not looking for perfection, just for our program to strive for it and hit close to it as often as possible. Last year was pretty damn close until the final implosion.
